Having joined Vizeum seven years ago, I became managing director of Vizeum Ireland in 2011. Previously I worked at sister agency Carat, where I joined as TV buyer in 2002. I worked my way up through the agency to become a board director in 2008. I have had the pleasure of working with many great companies such as eir Group, Vodafone, Bank of Ireland, Lifestyle Sports, BMW MINI, Largo Foods, amongst many others. In my time in Vizeum I have seen the agency grow to become one of the most successful agencies in Ireland. I get particular satisfaction from seeing young graduates develop their skills, experience and career at Vizeum and our ability to attract and retain the best talent.
Jo is responsible for driving excellence across all our teams and continuing to build on our strong reputation both with clients and media owners. As the longest member of the Vizeum team, she has been instrumental in the growth and success of the company and exudes an unmatched passion for the industry. These days, you’ll typically find her in brainstorms; challenging the teams to deliver even more magic to our clients’ campaigns to deliver truly effective and engaging communications. Her experience includes work across a breadth of categories but brings particular experience in targeting Teens & Mums and working in restricted marketing categories (HFSS and Alcohol). I began my career in San Francisco with the renowned Advertising Agency, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, where I was lucky enough to work on the prestigious “Got Milk” campaign. In 2005, having returned to Ireland, I joined McCann Erickson as the senior strategic planning director responsible for Mastercard and Sprite. In 2007 I joined Publicis Dublin as Planning Director and was responsible for the thinking behind many award wining campaigns such as SPAR, Cadbury, Vhi & TG4. I joined Vizeum as Head of Strategy in January 2015.
I joined Vizeum 8 years ago as a founding member of the digital team. My passion and commitment to digital media has enabled me to progress rapidly to become Digital Account Director in 2012 and subsequently Head of Digital two years later. I like to take a creative outlook on planning and support this with excellent strategic thinking. I have experience working across many industries and brands including the telecoms, lifestyle, energy, FMCG, alcohol, entertainment and cosmetic industries. I have recognised trends in the industry and built a robust digital team to take full advantage of all the opportunities these digital trends have to offer. Most recently I have been shortlisted for the IAPI Doyenne Award.
Conor joined Vizeum from Havas in 2010. He has over 15 years’ experience working across leading Irish and international brands. Over that time, he has overseen the development of media communications platforms for brands such as Bulmers Cider, Johnson & Johnson, 20th Century Fox and Meteor. Conor grew up in Dublin and used to spend most of his time away from the office either cycling, playing poker or motor racing before the arrival of his son nearly two years ago. Life is a bit more sedate these days; cycling is now a two man sport, poker has turned to Peppa Pig and motor racing is viewed strictly from the couch.
Maxine joined Vizeum in 2012 as the Business Director on Kerry Group, Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard & RTÉ. Maxine has been working in media for over 15 years, across Irish, UK & International agencies. Maxine is passionate about the media industry and her key strengths include; strategic planning based on consumer insights, creating engaging partnerships with media owners and delivering results based client solutions.
